Toy Story 3 3D

The third and probably final installment in the saga of intrepid toys Woody (Tom Hanks) and Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) is a complete charmer. Their owner, Andy, is getting prepared for college, so the gang’s future could include life in the attic—or a trip to the dump. Through some twists and turns, most of the gang winds up at a day-care center, where children don’t treat their toys with TLC. As it turns out, Andy wants to take Woody to college with him, but Woody decides to try to rescue his friends—jeopardizing his future with his beloved owner. Some great new toys are introduced—including the infamous Ken doll, voiced by Michael Keaton, and a socially damaged teddy bear, voiced by Ned Beatty. The story is both heartwarming and exciting, leading to a conclusion that could make your eyes rain. This is an incredibly satisfying film, elevating a summer movie season that was dragging a bit.
