Time Tested Art Tradition

Arizona's longest-running festival, the Tubac Festival of the Arts, continues its 56th annual show Wednesday, Feb. 4 through Sunday, Feb. 8. The event boasts 175 art booths with work from artists from around the country. Featured mediums include painting, sculpture, ceramics and wood, leather and glasswork. The focus on diversity extends to the festival's food offerings. Dine in options consist of cultural favorites like Greek and Southwestern and comfort foods like barbecue and funnel cakes. Take-home treats include gourmet pastas, caramel apples, and salsas. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Admission is free, parking is $8. For more info check out tubacaz.com
