Streetcar Celebration: Destination Main Gate Square,
The first of several celebrations scheduled to familiarize Tucsonans with the modern streetcar takes place from 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the University/Tyndall stop; free. Entertainment includes stilt walkers, hoop dancers, and acrobats by Cirque Roots;
Domingo DeGrazia Quartet 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.;
The UA Pep Band from 6:45 to 7:00 p.m.; free admission until 7 p.m. at The Arizona State Museum; 2-EEE the Clown face painting and balloons; and free souvenir photos from Bumblebee Photobooth. Discounts are available from merchants in the area.
