Without real estate, contracts, a huge payroll, or a few hundred donors and season ticket holders with great expectations, TRO is in a position to take risks, and wouldn't have it any other way. Musicians from other Tucson orchestras find a creative outlet in the TRO project, which operates to lure new fans to classical music. All TRO concerts are free to the public, and with unprecedented transparency, they invite everyone to attend their rehearsals, too.
