Sergio Avila-Villegas, Northern Mexico Conservation Program Manager of the Sky Island Alliance, presents "Islas Serranas: A Virtual Tour of the Sky Islands of Sonora," at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 12. The lecture is part of a series hosted by the UA Flandrau Science Center to explore Southern Arizona's "Sky Islands," mountains that rise above desert basins as sea islands rise above water.
