Red Road to Wellbriety Celebration

The fifth annual Red Road to Wellbriety Celebration takes place on Saturday, Sept. 17. A fun run begins at 6:30 a.m. Festivities begin at 9 a.m., with music, dancing, Native American food, kids' activities, speakers and a wellness fair. Albino Garcia, founder of La Plazita Institute, will speak and more than 15 local organizations will be present in resource booths. There will be a special acknowledgement ceremony for those Native Americans in attendance with a countdown of years-to-days in recovery.
