Recycle the Christmas Tree 

When: Dec. 31-Jan. 4 2013
The city of Tucson provides no pickup service for Christmas trees. Homeowners may discard their Christmas trees at nine Fairfax Companies locations on Monday, Dec. 31, and Wednesday through Friday, Jan. 2 through 4. Drop-off locations are at tucsonaz.gov/esd. Trees are shredded into chips for mulch and other uses. Chips are available free after Jan. 2 at Udall Park, 7200 E. Tanque Verde Road; and Randolph Park, 200 S. Randolph Way.
