Public Stargazing Program 

When: Mon., Feb. 22, 5:30 p.m. 2010
Enjoy views of the night sky through the WIYN 36-inch research telescope from Monday, Feb. 22, through Wednesday, Feb. 24. The events begin with dinner at 5:30 p.m., followed by tours, a lecture on the history of the telescope and Kitt Peak, and viewing through the telescope. $50 per person, which includes transportation to and from Kitt Peak from the National Optical Astronomy Observatory headquarters on the UA campus (950 N. Cherry Ave.). Reservations are required. Call for reservations or more information.
