Gonzalo Espinosa is known for his numerous murals in south Tucson and for his vibrant depiction of Mexico he knew as an urban teenager in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Originally from Acapulco, Espinosa moved to the United States in 1987 lured by the muralist movement of Los Angeles.
