A woman's car was vandalized with droplets of nail polish of a sinister-looking red color, right before she found a syringe on the ground near the vehicle, a PCSD report stated.
She told a deputy that she'd found the nail polish splattered on the hood of her car about a week ago, after a conflict with a man in her apartment complex (he'd told her he'd fix a minor problem with her computer for $5, then demanded $170—and she kicked him out without paying him at all).
She found it suspicious that just that morning, she'd also noticed fingerprints on the car, and on the ground near the driver's-side door she'd found a syringe (presumably empty).
The reportee wasn't sure it was her neighbor who'd put the nail-polish droplets on her car, or left the syringe near it—or whether the incidents had been linked at all.
Deputies properly disposed of the syringe and documented the disquieting deeds.
