WOMAN DOWN

WEST AQUAMARINE STREET

FEB. 9, 2:19 A.M.

A foul-mouthed apparent drug user exhibited bizarre behavior in front of a woman's residence, according to a Pima County Sheriff's Department report.

Deputies responding to a "man down" call met with the reportee, a female homeowner who said she was woken up that night by loud noises coming from the front steps of her residence. When she went to see what was going on, she reportedly saw a strange woman in a pink sweater rolling around on the ground in front of her house, mumbling, moaning, cussing at the reportee and "sucking on the reportee's plants."

Deputies made contact with the subject, who was at that point face-down on the sidewalk in front of the reportee's house; they rolled her over to see that her eyes were wide open. When asked her name, she said, "Fuck you"; when asked where she lived, she said, "Fuck you; you don't care." Her response was also "fuck you" to an offer to call someone to pick her up. When asked if she needed medical attention, she said, "Fuck no."

Deputies found a glass pipe containing methamphetamine residue while searching the woman. The subject was arrested for disturbing the peace.

RATED M FOR 'MY GOD, DON'T LET HIM PLAY THAT'

NORTH DRAKE PLACE

FEB. 9, 9:11 A.M.

A young man acted out violently after being told he could not play a graphic video game, a PCSD report stated.

The staff of a local juvenile group home called 911 to state that a male resident was out of control and damaging the home, breaking down the office door, gouging himself with a fork and threatening to stab a staff member.

When deputies arrived at the scene and began to put handcuffs on the subject, he wrenched himself from their grip and fled on foot, reportedly driving one deputy to deploy his Taser.

After eventually being apprehended, the young man explained that he had purchased a video game that the home's staff would not let him play because of its "mature content." That made him angry, he said, so he smashed the home's DVD player against a door. More violent behavior apparently followed.

Staff members reported that this was the second incident surrounding the video game—the night before, when it was initially confiscated, they said, he became enraged and punched holes in the hallway wall.

The young man was taken to the Pima County Juvenile Court Detention Center.
