Naked News

East Sunrise Drive and North Kolb Road, June 23, 12:04 a.m.

A woman told an apartment complex security guard that a nude man had strolled around outside with a bullwhip, a Pima County Sheriff's Department report stated.

The guard relayed to deputies that a female resident had repeatedly complained about a 200-pound male, who also lives at the apartments, walking around in the buff and masturbating on her landing. She alleged that on the prior night, the man carried a whip on one of his jaunts.

The guard added that the woman was scared to be directly involved in the investigation, because her boyfriend had threatened to "cut her up" if she did, the report said. There was no indication in the report about why her boyfriend would do that.

Now that he has also seen the nude man, the guard said he hopes he can get management to do something about the situation. Deputies attempted to contact the suspect, without results.

East Valencia Road and South Melpomene Way, June 27, 5:33 a.m.

According to a PCSD report, a nude man who appeared to have run through patches of cacti was arrested on a felony narcotics charge, despite his claims that the cocaine found in his truck belonged to two bar patrons who had drugged him.

A homeowner phoned authorities when a naked Claude Thomas Kennedy, 59, woke him up asking for help and saying he didn't know where he was.

Kennedy told deputies he had left a bar with a man and a woman to go to a party, but shortly after they started driving, he "became as limp as a duck," the report stated. He surmised that the duo had robbed him, stripped him of his clothes and left him in the desert.

A deputy, who had noticed Kennedy's truck when responding to the call, took him back to his vehicle to inspect it. The deputy asked Kennedy what had happened after noticing feces on his legs.

"I shit myself (and) also puked," he reportedly answered.

A search of the vehicle yielded Kennedy's clothes, a Hustler magazine and large quantities of white powder spilled throughout the cab. The powder was later confirmed as cocaine.

Kennedy was arrested when it was noted that the center console was down, suggesting that only two people could sit in the single-cab truck, the report said. Deputies also thought it unlikely that anyone would flee on foot from the inaccessible area where the vehicle was found.
