A woman accused her allegedly meth-addicted husband of setting fire to her brother-in-law's work truck after she filed for divorce, a Pima County Sheriff's Department report said.
The woman said she went to her husband's work after the suspected arson and talked to his boss, who told her he had no idea where her husband was. She drove around a bit, the woman told authorities, and eventually spotted his vehicle in a parking lot.
The woman said she called the Tucson Police Department and then let the air out of all four tires on her husband's vehicle; she also took off the car's license plate. She told authorities she didn't want him getting away with any evidence that might be inside his car.
According to the woman, TPD arrived and processed the vehicle, carting away several articles of clothing that smelled of gasoline. She said officers told her to refill the car's tires after they left, which she said she did to the best of her ability using some Fix-a-Flat.
Deputies, however, found a large puncture hole in one of the tires, which the woman denied she was responsible for creating.
The husband said his wife made the hole with a screwdriver. He told authorities that he saw her driving off in a red vehicle when he came upon his car. The license plate was bent and placed on a seat in the car, and papers that were in the glove box were gone.
Deputies decided there wasn't probable cause to charge the wife with criminal damage, even though she admitted she had flattened her husband's tires.

A man feels a former neighbor may have shot at him, a PCSD report stated.
The man said he and someone else were in a desert area near his home, loading up a truck. He told authorities that he recognized a whizzing sound that went by his ear as the sound a bullet makes as it travels through the air.
The man thought the culprit could have been a neighbor who lived near his former residence, with whom he'd had trouble in the past. However, he didn't see the shooter or find the supposed bullet.
Computer Caper
Irvington Road and Tucson Boulevard, June 19, 2:56 p.m.
A witness saw a woman steal a computer from a man's mobile home, a PCSD report said.
The witness left a note on the man's door; the man said the suspect, 25-year-old Leezette Rodriguez Camacho, sometimes lived in the unit across the street from his. The man believed Camacho had taken a spare key he had left in back of his home.
Camacho denied taking the computer. However, she had seven warrants out for her arrest, so deputies transported her to the Pima County Adult Detention Center.
