MySpace teasing morphed into a confrontation involving a car, a Pima County Sheriff's Department report stated.
A 20-year-old woman told authorities that another woman on MySpace had been making fun of her, calling her "Jay Leno" online and posting pictures of the reportee's deceased sister. The woman then threatened to kill the reportee in an e-mail.
The 20-year-old said she received a text message from the woman while she was sitting with her family in their backyard one evening, stating that the woman who was making threats "was outside." The reportee walked to the front of the house and noted a vehicle parked some 30 to 40 feet away. She told her father what she saw, and he went outside to tell the woman to leave.
The father also went to take a look at the license plate on the woman's car, but discovered it was obscured by a sweater. That's when the woman allegedly jumped in her car and threw it in reverse.
Dad said he thought the woman intended to simply get away, not run him over. He was able to get a look at part of the license plate before darting over to the sidewalk. The car "slightly struck him," the report said.
The 20-year-old said she thought the other woman wanted to fight because of some confrontations with the 20-year-old's friends. She said she had never spoken to the woman face to face.

A security guard at a senior-citizen community said she was being harassed by an unknown man, according to a PCSD report.
The woman's occupation wasn't noted in the report; however, it seemed she was some kind of security guard from her description of her actions.
She said she was making her rounds around the senior-citizen community complex when she heard a male voice say, "You have really nice tits. Step to the left so I can see them."
The woman told authorities that she ran back to the main office. The phone rang there, and she answered it, only to hear the same voice reportedly relaying to her that he was masturbating. The woman thought she heard the man say "cock," and then he told her that "touching himself is not going to suffice for long."
The woman said she was "extremely disturbed" by the situation. This was the fourth time something like this had happened, she said, and it always seemed to occur on her Friday-night shift.
A deputy went to the area where the woman had been walking, but was unable to find footprints or any other sign that someone had been there.
