CiCi's Pizza Invasion

All-you-can-eat-pizza joint CiCi's Pizza is opening three more locations in the Tucson area, according to a press release. There is currently one local CiCi's Pizza location, at 2912 W. Ina Road. We unsuccessfully tried to get a company spokesman to cough up the addresses of the new locations. The chain restaurant has 650 restaurants in 33 states, and the plan is to open at least 25 more locations across Arizona.

Festival Food

Fans of unique ethnic food may want to make a stop at the Tucson World RefugeeFest. This year's event features Afghani food by Sultan Palace, and meals by the Laotian Temple and Ghanaian Association. There will also be a Refugee Café selling foods made by Iraqi, Bhutanese and East African refugees. The event takes place from 5 to 9 p.m., Saturday, June 19, at El Presidio Park (160 W. Alameda St.). Admission is free; www.tucsonrefugeefest.com.

Father's Day Wines

Bring dad to CataVinos from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 17, through Saturday, June 19, and he'll be treated to a free tasting of six wines. If dad digs music, you'll want to be there from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Saturday tasting, when rocker Chuck Aubrey takes the stage. CataVinos is located at 3063 N. Alvernon Way; 323-3063; www.catavinoswines.com.

Delectables (533 N. Fourth Ave.) hosts an organic-vegetable tasting from 6 to 9 p.m., Thursday, June 24. Guests will be treated to tastes of six organically grown vegetables, dip, and organic watermelon and cucumber juices for $10. Several organic vodkas will also be available.
