What was the first concert you ever saw?
The Rolling Stones at the Vet (Veterans Stadium) in Philly in '90. Living Colour opened for them and rocked. That show gave me my first glimpse of grown-ups trying to dance, and it still cracks me up every time I see it.

I've got books and books full of CDs, a car full of CDs and a single Rob Base tape.
Do you download music, and if so, legally or illegally?
No, neither. I prefer to avoid computer viruses. That, and I thoroughly enjoy digging around in CD City and Zia.

Michael Jackson's Thriller.
What song would you like to have played at your funeral?
"So Long, Farewell" from The Sound of Music soundtrack.
Musically speaking, what do you love that your friends don't know about? What's your favorite guilty pleasure?
I love Wing and the musical stylings of Mr. Leonard Nimoy.
What band or artist changed your life, and how?
The Roots taught me the difference between rap and hip hop. I've always loved words, and intelligent lyrics just sorta turn me on. I cannot listen to the stuff played on the radio now; it's like eating food with negative nutritional value. Ever since Do You Want More?!!!??!, I've been searching for music that impresses me and doesn't just entertain.
