The greatest Italian tenor is scheduled to sing the lead in The Cleveland Opera’s OTELLO. However, when the singer takes a double dose of tranquilizers, opera management kicks into damage control and what follows is a laugh-out-loud chain reaction of mistaken identity, plot twists, double entendres and musical mayhem.
