Best-selling mystery writer and Tucsonan J.A. Jance discusses and signs her latest mystery, Second Watch, on Thursday, Sept. 26, at 2 and 3:30 p.m., at Joyner-Green Valley Library, 601 N. La Cañada Dr., Green Valley; and at 7 p.m., at Barnes and Noble, 5130 E. Broadway Blvd. On Friday, Sept. 27, from noon to 1:30 p.m., she visits the the Oro Valley Public Library, 1305 W. Naranja Drive; at 3 p.m., she stops at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System, 3601 S. Sixth Ave.; and at 7 p.m., she visits Mostly Books, 6208 E. Speedway. On Saturday, Sept. 28, she gives a talk, a Q&A and a signing at noon, at Costco, 6255 E. Grand Road. Sunday, Sept. 29, from noon to 1:30, she holds a signing event at Hastings, 3258 E. Fry Blvd., Sierra Vista; and at 4 p.m., she gives a talk, Q&A and signing at Atalanta Books, 38 Main St., Bisbee. All signing events and talks are free.
