Indigenous Resistance and Survival: Zapatista Solidarity Event

When: Sat., Aug. 2, 6-10 p.m. 2014

O’odham VOICE Against the WALL hosts a fundraiser in solidarity with the Zapatista movement in Chiapas to help rebuild a school and clinic. Indigenous musicians, poets and speakers include Klee Benally, Simon Ortiz, Ruben Cuk Ba'ak and Ofelia Rivas. Dinner begins at 6:00; speakers at 7:00.
