Tucson's oldest public library celebrates its 50th anniversary from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, June 25. Free. Festivities include a comedy sketch by Himmel staff (which includes a former writer for Bill Maher's Politically Incorrect), a family storytime with local children's authors, a time capsule created by members of the library's teen program, oral history recordings, and music performed by local children and the Shaky Bones Band.
