Green Building and Water Harvesting Workshops
Habitat for Humanity hosts workshops on sustainable building practices and the use of rainwater and greywater for sustainable landscaping in two workshops: 9 to 9:45 a.m., and 10:15 to 11 a.m., Saturday, March 5. Requested donations are $10 each workshop, or $15 for both. All proceeds help fund the 2011 Faith in Action home, for which construction begins on Building Freedom Day, Sept. 11, 2011.
