Teen and adult backyard birders and novices who want to learn more can learn from education specialists from Tohono Chul Park, from 2 to 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20; free. Discussion includes tips for choosing binoculars and field guides, as well as identifying the most common birds in the Southwest.
