Most dates are boring, so do this instead: The Grate Date, on Thursday, June 2, 7 to 10 p.m at the Carriage House Tucson. Cost is $75 (or $80 at the door), with proceeds going to Cafe54/Truck54. This is the date to beat all dates with cooking classes, a cocktails demo and dinner (I'd go without a date just for the Oaxacan Bread Pudding with cinnamon ice cream and mezcal hard sauce).
