The Youth Farm Project at the Community Food Bank Marana Heritage Farm (12375 Heritage Park Drive, Marana) is taking applications for the 2010 Spring Youth Apprentice Program. Youth ages 15 to 20 will be hired to work at the farm on Saturdays for 15 weeks beginning Saturday, Feb. 6. Participants will learn about sustainable agriculture and food production, food-security issues, cooking and nutrition. A stipend will be paid upon completion of the program.
