Envelopes Commemorate Tucson and the Civil War
A pair of specially designed souvenir envelopes, with new U.S. stamps commemorating Civil War battles at Antietam and New Orleans, are available from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, May 20; $4 the set. The envelope design includes the U.S. flag that was correct for May 20, 1862, when Tucson was returned to the Union following the skirmish at Picacho Pass.
