El Rio Bakery’s been around for decades, and when you sample their delicious pastries (we particularly like the empanadas), you’ll know why. However, El Rio also offers up other tasty Mexican fare; the soups are especially good. We recommend a steaming-hot bowl of albondigas (meatball) soup. (2-18-10)
