Editor's Note

We're getting close to that traditional pastime here at Weekly World Central when we are consumed with everything Best of Tucson™. We're finalizing the online ballot and voting process, and will let you know when you can let us know what's what—really its that one time of the year that we turn to you to tell us what the best tortillas are in town or the best place to hike with your kids.

All year we tell you what we think, but this time, no ... for once, as difficult as it is to do, we shut up. Sure, over the years we may have disagreed with you, but we went with that fakey conservative radio personality as the best in town or the chain restaurant as the best of something (so terrible, we drove it out of our collective newspaper memory). However, this year, we'll be returning to staff picks, something missed last year—so I guess you'll still hear from us even if you don't want to. Staff picks tend to be more focused, and sometimes fall into the category of strange and beautiful. Just like you, which is probably why we love Tucson so very much. We went to our Facebook feed and asked followers for suggestions on new categories and more for Best of Tucson™ 2015, but here's an official request—your invitation to suggest new categories. We can't wait to hear from you.
