I don't think they can recreate the bad dental work of the Dating Game episodes of my youth, but I'm pretty sure the return of this fun event—single or not—is worth the time on Friday, June 29, 9 p.m. at Bumsted's, 500 N. 4th Ave. Host and matchmaker Bethany Evans brings together lovebirds from throughout our hot, hot city. Here's how it works: An eligible bachelor or bachelorette will question three unseen contestants, and based only on their answers, will select one to go out with on a date (on the show). Know someone single who'd want to participate, have them email bumstedsdatinggame@gmail.com for an application. The game is free to play or watch. Go to the event's Facebook page for more info.
