Danes in the Desert Reception
A reception takes place from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 25, for Danish Ambassador Peter Taksoe-Jensen, Danish athletes, Danish clubs and others interested in Danish culture; free. The event includes "A Dane Did It," a presentation about Danes' contributions to American culture and history, and a demonstration and samples of Danish pastries with master baker Steve Hashemi of Mona's Danish Bakery.
