Constrain & Construe

Watch local sisters Dawn and Kee Copps perform an insular, interactive and Butoh-inspired performance art piece, "Constrain and Construe," at the Steinfeld Warehouse Community Arts Center (101 W. Sixth St.) on Friday, April 22 and Saturday, April 23. They say the movement-based piece emulates blending into a communal cave, and every audience member will get one part of their body restrained. Expect to experience "Constrain and Construe" with all your senses. Tickets are $10 on www.constrainandconstrue.brownpapertickets.com/ or at the door 30 minutes before the show. For more information, check out the event's Facebook page.
