Parallels, Ploys and Perception: The Confluence of Science and Music, a fundraiser featuring a dialog between former professional musician, Dr. John Hildebrand, of the UA department of neuroscience, and UA music faculty member Paula Fan, the daughter of a mathematician and a scientist, includes cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and a three-course dinner, at 6 p.m., Friday, Jan. 24; $275, of which $165 is a donation to the UA Confluence Center for Creative Inquiry.
