Community Bike Ride Links River Paths
Connect 2 Tucson hosts an all-ages, all-speeds, fun and family-friendly 22-mile-loop ride celebrating the recent connection of two river paths: the Pima County Urban Loop and the Mountain Avenue Bikeway. The ride also includes parts of the UA, West University, Dunbar Spring and Barrio Anita neighborhoods. A shorter, alternate route is available. The event starts from Drachman Plaza at 7 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 24. A rally, information exchange and entertainment take place in the plaza after the ride.
