CREATIVE BUZZ: Time's running out to catch a visual smorgasbord in the DC/Harris Gallery's current exhibit, Musings, Mullings and Buzzings.

The show features new drawings, paintings and ceramic sculpture by Daryl Childs, David F. Brown and Michael Cajero. In theme, these pieces explore the human condition through the use of narrative, whimsical meanderings and expressive, sometimes aggressive gesture.

Musings, Mullings and Buzzings runs through December 4 in the DC/Harris Gallery, 41 S. Sixth Ave. Hours are 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, and during Downtown Saturday Night. For information, call 629-9446.

BOBBING FOR BOP: Plumb the musical depths with a concert by the PCC Jazz Improv Combos.

The ensembles will "dive deep into the catalogue of jazz treasures, surfacing only to catch a breath." Adventurous to the core, the students will explore improvisation-jazz standards, ballads and traditional pieces with plenty of gutsy panache.

MEAN SCREEN: America's grittiest cinema combines with Arizona's smoothest suds for another Movie Night at the Nimbus Brewing Co.

Scorcese is on tap, with Robert DeNiro at his unbalanced creepiest in Taxi Driver , along with the edgy urban classic, Mean Streets. So grab some popcorn, pull up a chair, open your eyes -- and your gullets -- as the film fun begins.
