FOOD AND WORDS. A good combo at Reader's Oasis: Two authors cook up traditional food on Sunday, November 10.

Madeline Gallego Thorpe and Mary Tate Engles share stories and recipe tips from their new book, Corazon Contento: Sonoran Recipes and Stories from the Heart. The book celebrates the Hispanic family through discussion of the importance of family, fun and food. The authors demonstrate the Lost Tamal--Tamal Perdito--as well as other foods. Hear the stories and sample the cuisine beginning at 1 p.m. The store is located at 3400 E. Speedway Blvd. Call 319-7887 for information.
