People come and go, and most of us can make the choice to leave our home for a new one. Sometimes it's hard to imagine the life of a refugee who can't make that choice. They had to leave their homes for safety and they can't return. On Tuesday, June 16, Refugee Focus, 120 N. Stone Ave., Suite 220R, will host a celebration of World Refugee Day. From 4 to 9 p.m.. guests will celebrate diversity with games, education and music by Jam 2 Grow. The event is free and open to the public and guests are asked to bring a dish to share.
