Celebrating Baja Beer

Baja Oktoberfest

Do you really need an excuse to wear a dirndl or lederhosen? How about drinking beer? Better yet, an event to celebrate craft beer that also benefits Tu Nidito? The Arizona Craft Brewer's Guild's Baja Oktoberfest does all that, billing itself as the largest celebration of Arizona craft beer in Tucson on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 5 to 10 p.m., at the Kino Sports Complex, 2500 E. Ajo Way. In the haus will be collabrews, specialty beers and a good variety of Arizona-made craft beer along with German and American dishes from local food trucks, and games, polka music and a DJ. Tickets and more info, go to bajaoktoberfest.com.
