The annual Tucson Poetry Festival is returning to Tucson for the 33rd time this weekend with three days packed full of events to suit any style. Start off with the Kickoff Party at Playground Bar and Lounge (278 E. Congress St.) at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 15. Then spend a thought-provoking Saturday and Sunday at slam poetry competitions, panels, readings and a concert on or near the University of Arizona campus.
