Call for Artists: Mardi Gras Masks
Friday, Nov. 29, is the deadline for Arizona residents ages 18 and older to submit an application to decorate a Mardi Gras mask to benefit the Community Food Bank. Masks are displayed in local restaurants from Wednesday, Jan. 1, through Friday, Jan. 31. They are auctioned at the Food Bank's Mardi Gras fundraising gala on Saturday, Feb. 8. Entry information and an application form are at communityfoodbank.com/2013/11/01/call-to-local-artists-make-a-mask-for-mardi-gras-2014. Selected artists receive one free ticket to the event.
