Call for Actors
El Rio Theatre Project holds auditions for The Taming of the Shrew at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday, July 10 and 11; free. Actors bring a two-minute classic monologue or are prepared to cold-read selections from the script. The production runs for 11 performances the last two weeks of September and the first weekend in October at the Himmel Park Outdoor Amphitheater. The production is part of the annual Shakespeare in the Park series.
