Buffet Birthday Bicycle Bonanza
A party celebrating the 77th birthday of the oldest bar in Tucson takes place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 1. Free. The event features a raffle, games, entertainment by local bands and a race from 4 to 7 p.m. Race participation is on a bicycle, on a skateboard or on foot for a fee of $10, discounted for groups. Proceeds benefit Positively Beautiful, an organization that benefits HIV-positive Tucsonans. The winner receives a beach-cruiser bicycle from New Belgium Brewery.
