Best Wine Bar

58 Degrees Bar and Bistro

Readers Pick

In the past several years, a plethora of wine bars have sprung up around town. 58 Degrees Bar and Bistro is one the nicer ones. The folks here are dedicated to vino: You'll find wine tastings, flight lessons, wine dinners, weekly specials and lockers where, for a modest membership fee, you can store your personal wine collection. The food offerings are interesting (the ahi tuna nachos are a prime example), and the staff is knowledgeable. No matter your level of wine knowledge, you will feel at home. The store recently won the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence. (FYI: The St. Philip's location recently closed.)
