El Charro Café

You remember several years back when Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? was a smash hit? Then, ABC decided in its infinite wisdom that the show needed to be on something like nine nights per week, and in a couple of years, the prime-time version of the show was pretty much toast. Well, we're hoping that the same thing doesn't happen to El Charro Café. Within the last year, two more El Charro locations have opened their doors, meaning that (counting the El Charro lite thing they have at the airport) there are now five locations across Tucson. That's a lot of tasty Mexican food. But if we were a betting newspaper, we'd place our money on El Charro's continued local success (as long as future growth's kept in check). After all, the impeccable eats (just thinking about that carne seca makes our nipples hard) and tasty margaritas are hard to beat. And El Charro doesn't have that annoying Regis dude, either.
