Waiter, there's an eye patch in my soup! In a town drowning in tortilla soup, Agave at the Desert Diamond Casino is Southern Arizona's best-kept secret. For those who have been around for a while, does the name El Rapido ring a bell? Owned by Tony Peyron, his now defunct restaurant without chairs used to pack them in for lunch downtown. As a matter of fact, when Janos had a restaurant at the Tucson Museum of Art, he used to sneak over to El Rapido for a bowl of soul-nourishing tortilla soup. Peyron oversees soup-making at Agave. No gambling required; mmm-mmm good.
