It's hard to decide on a meal at Claim Jumper. There are tons and tons of options, and they all tend to sound delicious (even though it is a chain). However, if there is one item that you need to try while there, it's Claim Jumper's sublime tortilla soup. Unlike other broth-based versions, this one is a creamy puree of tortillas, roasted chiles, onions and spices, with hunks of rotisserie chicken at the bottom. Just be careful--this stuff is wonderful and very rich, so if you decide to have more than a cupful, you do risk feeling like an extremely contented, albeit beached, cilantro-scented whale.
