Local theater companies struggle constantly to attract much-deserved audiences and funding for important plays. Even the venerable Arizona Theatre Company stumbled in 2016, and appears to be dangling at a precipice. Meanwhile, Gaslight Theatre hums along in the entertainment business. The company is a feature of the theater and restaurant that hosts it. With five shows a week, fun and family friendly, the theater attracts more people in a month than other companies draw in a season.
