Fiorito's

Staff Pick

This midtown Italian joint offers plenty of specialty pizzas, including an outstanding white pizza made with several cheeses, fresh tomatoes, scallions and oodles of garlic. But it is Fiorito's traditional pizza that stands out. (Deep dish is also available.) The thin crust is the perfect balance of chewy and crispy. There's just the right amount of the delicious sauce, and quality cheeses top it off. Traditional and not-so-traditional toppings are available, but you might want to try the tasty fresh sausage. Prices are more than reasonable, with a small cheese pizza at $9 and the extra-large at $14. The specialty pizzas cost a bit more, but are well worth it. All the other Italian food will delight. Atmosphere is Tucson casual. There's a nice wine list as well.
