Unlike ketchup, its competitor for the title of "America's Condiment," salsa's a food item with a seemingly infinite number of variations (yes, we know that there are different types of ketchup, but let's face it, in general, there's a singular flavor you associate with the stuff). So, that variety—the fact that most Tucsonans probably have some unique combination of tomatoes, onion, chiles and whatnot that they prefer—is probably why Guadalajara Original Grill keeps winning this category.
