STAFF PICK: We love the front of Mary's Lucky Dollar Market, with its bucolic pig and cow painting, but we love the inside, too, which isn't a market at all, but a comfortable little restaurant serving simple home cooking at rock-bottom prices. Mary's opens early for breakfast and only stays open through lunch. There are always a few surprises on the menu depending on the whim of the kitchen (just like home). Go during Lent and try the capirotada, a delicious bread pudding.
