Reader's Poll Runner-Up: Betsy Bruce (formerly of KRQ). Boy, did KRQ screw up when they let this local radio icon go. Not only did the suits misread the listening audience, they kicked Betsy to the curb in a cold, heartless manner. KRQ's ratings have been in the toilet ever since and it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. Bruce had been with the station for centuries in DJ years, and her fans were fiercely loyal.
