All deserts need an oasis, and Tucson’s just might be the Botanical Gardens. Be sure to take those out-of-town relatives who always comment that nothing grows in the desert. Watch their faces as they look in awe at the lush garden grounds. The gardens are so inviting that some early evening critter sightings occur. It really is a little paradise in the middle of our city, and we’re lucky it exist when we need a break outdoors.
